A photographer is someone who always stays behind the scenes. I’ve never had behind-the-scenes photos of myself. You work on set, with 2-3 people around, and does anyone ever think to take a couple of shots of me working? No. Instead, people record on their phones what I’m already capturing with my camera. As a result, you get great photos from professional equipment and a bunch of average or bad ones from phones, but none of me in action.

At some point, I started to allocate a little time to capture some behind-the-scenes shots. Unfortunately, there’s not always someone around to take photos of me working. But when I’m lucky enough to have a fellow photographer with me who can capture those moments, it’s a huge win!

So, if you ever see a photographer (or videographer) at work, don’t hesitate to take a few photos of them from different angles. Trust me, they will be incredibly grateful.
