Professional Car Photography for UK Automotive Clubs
My heart always starts racing when I’m on my way to a professional car photography shoot here in the UK. Automotive photography UK is one of the most exciting — and technically challenging — genres. Cars aren’t people: they need plenty of space, and finding the perfect parking spot isn’t always easy.
This shoot was organised for a UK classic car club and brought together around ten cars from different eras at a historic country estate — a perfect backdrop for classic car photography.
Automotive Photo Shoot: Static and Rolling Car Shots
Capturing dynamic rolling shots requires a second car, adding another layer of complexity to an automotive photo shoot. Alongside driving shots, we also focused on clean static portraits that highlight the design and character of each vehicle.
We shot during the day and continued into the evening, using additional lighting to create atmospheric images that work equally well for club promotion, websites and social media.
